Ok, this particular ring is pretty spectacular if you ask us (and even if you didn't we'll tell you why anyway).

Table cut diamonds like the one these two old miners are sitting at (table for two, HA!) is one of the oldest cuts of diamonds around; an Original Gangster of the gem world, if you will. Used as early as the 16th century, they dominated the jewelers bench until the ever popular rose cut came out in front. The table cut also is the great-great-great-great grandmother to the Emerald Cut, which we all know and adore today. 

To add to the unique beauty of this ring, the gleaming yellow gold has traces of black enamel still in the details. We can imagine how insanely cool that must have looked to set off the sparkle in the diamonds.
